NICK REYNOLDS
Contractor

Founding Prinicipal
California Contractor License # 878235

Nick grew up helping and learning from his uncle, a mason and a carpenter.  Their labor of love project was his uncle’s 1400s cottage in the UK.  Over the years, Nick’s uncle instilled in him a love for fine craftsmanship and vintage details.

An artist and a musician, Nick graduated with a fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin.  Nick sees construction as an art form so every project is a personal mission.

Nick’s first full renovation job was in Milwaukee where upon graduating from College he rented a 6000 sq. ft. industrial warehouse.  Nick and his friends converted the warehouse into a modern live/work space.  From there Nick moved into another vintage industrial warehouse space with brick walls and 20 ft. ceilings where he performed his second commercial to residential conversion.  All the while Nick apprenticed with a local contractor whose specialty was reclaimed and reconditioned furniture and construction.  Nick’s last Milwaukee project was an investment property, which he remodeled and flipped, using the proceeds to finance the move to Los Angeles and to purchase his first LA home.

Once in LA Nick started working for a Compton based neighborhood revitalization non-profit.  He enjoyed the process and honed his skills working on a multitude of projects and handling almost every imaginable construction task.  Following this steep learning curve, Nick graduated to heading up an 18 unit Highland Park construction project.

Now, a licensed California contractor for over a decade, Nick can be seen on HGTV’s House Hunters Renovation and his artful touches are evident in wonderful restoration projects like John Lautner’s home in Silverlake and Conrad Buff & Donald Hensman’s architectural Eagle Rock home.

Nick a world traveller and a soccer devotee, lives with his family in Eagle Rock where he recently started a reclaimed furniture company.
